Basic debugging steps of Jiangsu Shuangma diesel generator set

A diesel generator set is a power generation device that starts quickly, is easy to operate and maintain, requires less investment, and has strong adaptability to the environment. It is mainly used for power supply of various main power sources and emergency power sources, and can also be applied to power supply of electric propulsion systems. Its importance is self-evident. Therefore, the debugging work of the generator set before operation is also essential. Below are a few essential projects that must be tested.
1、 Add water
First, close the drain valve, add coolant until the water tank port is in place, and cover the water tank cap.
2、 Add engine oil
There are two types of engine oil: summer and winter, and different types of engine oil should be used in different seasons. For diesel engines, add No. 8 or No. 11 engine oil in winter and No. 14 engine oil in summer.
During the process of adding engine oil, pay attention to observing the dipstick until the oil reaches the position where the vernier scale is fully immersed. Cover the oil cap and do not add too much oil, as excessive oil can cause oil discharge and burning.
3、 Distinguish between inlet and outlet oil
To ensure that the engine's oil intake is clean, it is generally necessary to allow the diesel to settle for 72 hours. Do not insert the oil into the bottom of the cylinder to avoid sucking up dirty oil and blocking the oil pipe.
4、 Pump diesel
Firstly, loosen the nut on the manual oil pump, hold the handle of the diesel generator manual oil pump, and evenly pull and press until the oil enters the pump.
5、 Release air
First, loosen the air release screw of the high-pressure oil pump, then manually press the hand oil pump and see oil and bubbles overflowing from the screw hole until all the oil is seen flowing out. Tighten the screw.
6、 Connect the starter motor
Distinguish between the positive and negative poles of the motor and the positive and negative poles of the battery. The two batteries should be connected in series to achieve a 24V effect. Connect the positive pole of the motor first, and when connecting the positive pole, do not let the terminal touch other wire segments. Then connect the negative pole of the motor, be sure to connect it firmly to avoid burning and damaging the wiring segment.
7、 Air switch
Before starting the machine or when the machine has not entered the power supply state, the switch should be in the separated state. There are four terminals at the bottom of the switch, three of which are three-phase live wires. The Cummins generator set is connected to the power wire, and the independent neutral wire is next to it. The power source that the neutral wire contacts with any of the live wires is 220V lighting electricity. Do not use a power source that exceeds one-third of the rated power of the generator.
8、 Instrument section
1. During use, the power level used can be accurately read through an ammeter;
2. The voltmeter can detect the output voltage of the motor;
3. The frequency meter must reach 50Hz, which is the basis for detecting the speed;
4. The current and voltage conversion switch is used to detect motor instrument data;
5. Oil pressure gauge, to detect the operating oil pressure of the diesel engine, should not be less than 0.2 atmospheres at full speed;
6. Tachometer, the speed should be at 1500 revolutions per minute;
7. The water temperature gauge should not exceed 95 degrees Celsius during use, and the oil temperature should generally not exceed 85 degrees Celsius.
9、 Start up
Turn on the ignition switch, press the button, release the generator set after starting the car, run for 30 seconds, turn the high and low speed switches, and the machine will slowly increase from idle to high speed. Check the readings of all instruments. Only when everything is normal can the air switch be closed and the power transmission be successful.
10、 Parking
First, turn off the air switch, cut off the power supply, adjust the diesel engine from high speed to low speed, let the machine idle for another 3-5 minutes, and then turn off the machine.
